Halo series playthrough

Afternoon all, I've a craving to play through all the Halo games. Now, without googling, is this possible on the Xbox One? I ask as I don't want to have to buy several consoles and only own a PS4 which is used as a stand to a desk plant as the wife and I are PC gamers.

I know I can get Halo on the PC, but the anniversary version of it is teasing me. The last Halo I played was Halo 4 and I absolutely adored it, and yes I played all the previous Halo's. Something is missing from modern FPS titles for me and I think it's something buried inside of Halo.

So, any thoughts?
 
Yes buy Halo The Masterchief Collection (Halo 1-4) and Halo 5 both can be had for under £15 each.

Sadly not, donated my old xbox 360 to my nephews as I had literally a couple hundred games for it on disk. So much so, I had a flight box full of disks as the cases took up too much space.

Shame. All halo games run on xbox one..... Reach and ODST included.
 
Ok, looks like I'm procuring an xbox this weekend! Anything else I should pick up that I've missed over the last got knows how many years that's exclusive to xbox one? Assume that if it's also on PC. I've got it already.
