Isometric Halo! lolz.

Looks ok for a bit of fun. Looking at the design I am guessing it was originally for tablets and suchlike?

But yeah - a next gen remake of Halo with some updating would be glorious. Surely by now they would release the source to some developers to take it on as a multiplayer only venture? Could be good!
 
^ agreed. A best of would be great. All the game modes, best maps, weapons. Just having the Forge to mess about in with friends would be amazing. And Firefight - the best version of this gametype around. It would be the greatest thing to happen to PC fps in years!
 
What the hell is this?

Literally didnt see this til today...going by the trailer, looks sorta...sorta like a dawn of war deal.

Though i imagine it might not be as good, but this has me thinking, a game like that in the halo universe would be nice.
 
Bought this from the Windows Store when it came out, but just uninstalled it and purchased it on Steam for the sake of having a real Steam copy. Hope it sells well, maybe convince them to finally release Halo 3 on Steam.
 
Been playing it a lot since yesterday even though I already bought on Win 8 store last year hate Win 8 so never completed it. The Steam version feels much smoother now it no longer has the Win8 Store DLC DRM attached to it as its fully Steamworks integrated

A great little game with some excellent gfx & very easy to play on a gamepad. Well worth buying @ £3.99 forget about MS this is a decent game regardless of whoever publishes it ;)
 
Just seen the vid on the steam store, this looks like good fun!

Just noticed it's SP, I think it's missed a trick there. Obviously not played it, but it looks like it'd be an enjoyable co-op.

Micro-transactions too. Hate them. I'd MUCH rather pay more for a complete game.

Ooh I say! Could this be a sign of things to come? Perhaps a tester to see how this one sells. If it leads to more Halo's being released on PC I'm all for it.
 
Bumping this as Spartan Assault is currently £1.35 on Steam until Sept 1st. I didn't get around to grabbing it on release, think I'll take a punt now though.
 
Had a quick play on this at my dad's today, quite enjoyed it... Will have to play it when I get home since I have owned it since it launched lol
