Just tried to have a game of good old fashioned Halo with a couple of mates but had a few problems.

We had a one xbox 360 hooked up to a normal xbox. We could play some matches but about one in two games would fail with a message about something being out of sync (sorry I didnt think to write the whole message down :o).

Both the halo disks are in poor condition and so is the xbox, think the cable is ok and the 360 is definately ok. We do have another xbox kicking about but that's in even worse shape and the disk won't even run 90% of the time.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Possibly that?

I don't know of any specific Xbox to 360 issues for halo though.

Yea that was my first guess as its most logical. We used to play it with with the 2 naff xbox's and the 2 naff disks though, I guess they've just got worse since then. My brothers really dont look after things very well, we had to prize one of the xboxs from a bracket in the garage which he superglued on using a whole tube of superglue, what a moron!

Was kinda hoping that it was the 360 to xbox issue as this would probably be easier to resolve but hey hoe.
