Live action TV series scheduled to go into production next year, produced by Amblin, Spielberg's company.

Can't say I've played the games that much, I've never had an XBox, but I did play them around a mate's house and loved the lore behind them and have read a few of the books and have the Blu-rays.

So happy this is finally happening, it's a universe that has real promise. The two limited series were really good.

Yeah Forward Unto Dawn and Nightfall. First was a little better but I thought they were both good.

The movie of this has been in "development hell" for well over a decade now. You have to wonder why, seems a pretty straightforward story to put on the screen?

It's an interesting story of Creative Control and not being willing to let go. Have a read here to see why the movie failed to get anywhere.
