Well this is coming out soon and it does look very good.

Pc beta out from the 20th this Friday and they have employed Creative Assembly to work on the pc version.

The pc version of halo wars 1 plays very much like old school c&c which i was surprised i enjoyed tbh but i've been having a bad RTS itch that not much has scratched but this might help a bit.

They should make a film from that first trailer - I would go and see it.
The game is just like the old C&C series - may be worth a punt if cheap enough.

I thought Halo Wars 1 was console only?

They have remastered it for the pc but it's only with the ultimate version of halo wars 2.

I did enjoy the first one back in the day on the 360. But don't fancy buying games on Windows store so will have to give it a miss unless it hits steam in a year or two. Got plenty of other games to play anyway.

Well I have pre-ordered the expensive version for £55. Convinced myself I am getting two games for the price. Will see what the reviews seem like first!

only just saw this is coming out had no idea about halo wars either, rts. hell yeah looks pretty good. how ever the price. will have to wait for it to drop. havent had a rts for a while, could do with a new game.

I really wanted to get the deluxe version to play HW1 but I got the normal version for £28 off of CDKeys last week instead. Cant wait to play it though as the first one was really enjoyable and worked quite well for an RTS on a gamepad ,back when I played it on the 360.

Well it finally arrived just after 7, but having seen the reviews and limited resolutions for the HD Halo wars, really not sure about if I just return it. I mean a 6 hour campaign sees far to short for the main game...

I expect it'll end up in the bargain bin soon anyway as I don't see it selling very well. PC gamers have better RTS games on offer and I suspect very few console gaming Halo fans will be interested in it.

Good to see another joint xbox/PC release where the digital copy allows you to play it on both systems at least.

It'd be awesome if the next proper Halo franchise is a joint xbox/PC release
