Why does this game run so poor on my 7800GT ? OK so my gfx card isnt the latest and greatest, but COME ON the original XBOX is a far cry off that.. Geforce 3 standard if my memory serves me well.

Anyway the slow down almost make this game unplayable, SLOPPY port, Vista has always been poor for me in gamnig anyways, compared to my XP boot, games run a zillion times better on my XP partition, but this is just one big slap in the face..

At least the xbox ver is locked at 35fps which is still **** poor. I was expecting much much better than this...

lol it always makes me laugh when ever i read a thread about how disappointed people are of halo 2 on the pc

did you seriously expect it to be any good
 
Get the xp patch and it will run 10x better(Under XP). this speaks volumea about vista gaming and how its suposably a better gaming platform ;)

With vista I have to run game at 1024x Low quality and have choppy gameplay. Under XP i can run game at high quality 1680x 2xAA and this is on an X800XT. The patchisnt without its issues mind due to the way the patch/hack works, but it shows a dramatic performance difference for this suposably vista only game ;)
