microsoft have said for a long time they were going to release halo3 at the 'right' time i mean with gears of war just coming out maybe they've used that to try and keep the 360 going vs ps3...do you think now is the time to unleash the beast?
 
No because there is only 80,000 ps3's, when they are on general sale around the world would be a good time. :)
 
A more logical time would be when Metal Gear Sold 4 is due, or another big game. Saying that, I'd rather fork out for a PS3 and MGS4 than Halo 3 in all honesty.

The names sony & playstation 3 on one box...Thats all they need..

I bet Sony would still sell out of the ps3 on release day even if there was not one game for it released on release day..

Yes Microsoft did say that but then bungie turned around and basically told them where to get off. In their own words it will be released when its ready and not before. But you will be able to expect it before the end of next year at the latest since they will want to get it out before Christmas.
 
I don't think we'll see Halo3 before August/September 2007.

So yes.. it will be at the same time as the UK PS3 launch :p

Rumour: Microsoft wants Capcom

The latest issue of EGM has a rumor that MS are desperate to make a bid for a Capcom and get them on board as a first party developer. Remember this is nothing more than a rumor.

I can't see it happening to be honest... Also I really hope it doesn't happen, it would be very bad for the gaming industry IMO if Capcom were to develop for just one console.

Do people still buy Tekken games?

It seems like its always a launch title for something and its just updated graphics every time a new one is released. I got bored of them long ago personally.
 
I read somewhere that capcom were going to be releasing all games on all platforms as of the PS3 launch. Because of the cost to make games.

Surely this will mean DMC will be non exclusive now... (runs off to check that DMC is actually capcom)... It is good.
