Now available for preorder, we have the new Halos RGB Fan Frames and the Phanteks Pro M Special edition. The Halos fan frames are Phanteks answer to those who would like RGB lighting for their system, but also want high performance fans which usually don't come with RGB functionality. They easily mount to 120mm or 140mm fans, bathing them in a premium RGB glow. They are fully compatible with all Phanteks RGB cases, along with Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light & Gigabyte RGB Fusion. They can also be daisy chained with Phanteks RGB strips for keeping your system lighting uniform. Both aluminium and plastic frames are available depending on your preference. For me, this is another great idea from Phanteks, giving people who use premium grade fans the option to add lighting to their system without sacrificing on quality & performance.

The Halos will be in stock early September, so preorder now!

In addition, we have the Pro M Special Edition, which incorporates the Pro M Glass chassis, with a white interior, and a pair of 140mm fans featuring the Halos RGB fan frames. The Pro M Glass is one of our best selling models, and these changes offer both a different colour scheme and RGB lighting for those who want it. These will be available in the next few weeks.

What a great idea (specially the using Asus Aura, so means can be attached to Phantek RGB lights and hidden away without extra wires etc.)

Very cool.

Indeed, Phanteks proving once again why they are so well regarded, actually thinking of something innovative rather than just chucking another RGB fan out there.

was about to instant order when I saw the Alumin version but then its been coated :( will stick to the normal black versions I think. Should spruce up Silent Wing 3 fans I think and hopefully light up Frost Acrylic panels and do away with the need for LED strips

Not having a dig, genuinely curious - why does the fact they're coated change your mind?

Also, would I be able to fit these to fans I have installed on a rad using the longer screws?

changes my mind as I can just get the cheaper black plastic ones if the metal ones are coated - and if needs be spray them. Removing the paint job from the alumin ones can be a nasty job- I have to use Mayhems Blitz kit at 10pm in the back garden and make sure there is no traces of acid left due to having two young kids etc etc.

I have Stainless steel Hex m3/m4 and unc bolts in my Parvum case so easy to have a length needed. Alphacool supply standard 30mm length as well as 35 but looks like 40mm would be needed in my case, 35mm for standard cases would work i think

@ChugNorris Would you be able to take a picture of these mounted on a few random fans when you get them in stock? would be great for visuals to see them on different fans and cases

Not sure if that's what you mean, but they are anodized, not paint coated as such. Here's some images for you to check them on Phanteks fans: -

anodized , thats the one- just like alphacools stuff and is a pain to remove to bare metal :(

Wonder if you'll be able to gain exclusive rights to get their bare and do your own coloured versions ;)

well, think i'll be placing me order for 5 shortly haha

im probably missing something obvious here but what would these connect to?
also how are they controlled?

(my motherboard doesnt have any fancy LED control stuff)
