Hamachi and R6VEGAS2

Problem: I can see freiend's servers but that same friend cannot see mine.

We can ping one another (hamachi IP)
Hamachi is primary network adapter
UK regional and language options (this seemed to be an issue with this game and hamachi)

Any other things to try?

I had problems with this myself, I found once I had moved the hamachi connection as top priority and REBOOTED the problem was resolved for myself and my two mates.

The regional settings is a myth and does NOT work.

Make sure all your mates also have the hamachi adapter as top

Network Connections -> Advanced Settings

EDIT - on another note, we stopped playing because of the AI respawns, terrible way to make this game as they spawn on top of you,

Also when u clear a room u cannot be sure more will spawn there. its pants!

vista is a pain in the bottom to get working properly if thats what you are using . i had games with 3 friends one who had vista . he always had to host which is not good when he had the worst connection. you are far better off using the internet way of connecting to each other if thats the case .

Thanks for the replys.

Hamachi is a program that interests me as in theory, once working any new games would not need configuration (ports through H/W firewall etc) and the ability to appear on a LAN via SSL. Want to check out FTP and remote printing and a few other things too.

That aside any other ideas for getting it working? I am running WinXP SP2 by the way.

OK, got it working.

After trying all the suggested options from here and other sites to no avail I decided to delete my Hamachi Server and create a new one (still using the same account name). This then allowed my friend to see my LAN server, I could also see his.

Hope this may help someone "googling" with the same problem.
