Hamachi, class c

Hamachi works on Garry's mod to play a friend but on TF2 it syas we both need to be class c?????

class c isa LAN ip. Make sure you are using hamachi to connect.
why not just forward the ports and not use hamachi

port forwarding is wierd, it utorrent port checker says 34567 is open but 27015 isnt, at the mo im waiting for a replacment w/c pump to come through from overclockers for my main pc which is the one i set the port forwarding up on. so ill try with that cos normally port forwarding is fine on my netgear DG834N router for that pc.
So i think its fine on my other computer, i only started using hamachi on this pc.

TF2 is weird with hosting yourself. Always throws an excuse at me when im trying to set up a private game for a few mates.

Go in "CP > network connections > advanced > advanced settings" and make sure Hamachi is at the top of the list.

Fixed LAN hosting on GRID for me (among others).
