Hamilton 20/1 F1 WDC, Worth A Punt?

Am i reading this right, I can open a betfair account, deposit £30 and bet on hammy and if he losses I get the £30 back?

I shall look into this, I'd just planned to pop down to William Hill spur of the moment type thing.

Also found this that may help :

For Hamilton to win the championship:

He needs to win the race. AND
Have Vettel finish 3rd or below, AND
Have Webber finish 6th or below, AND
Have Alonso finish outside the points.

Bet £20 with bet365 when it was 100/1 earlier in the week. Very much an outside chance and the first time I've ever had a flutter but anything could happen :)

I had a look yesterday and Vettel was 8/1, that's where my money would have been.

Hamilton has got to be worth a fiver but you're asking for a miracle tbh.

Surely you get a free bet not your money back?

Plus, with the free bet you won't get your stake back so pointless betting on a sure thing. This is how they usually work anyway.

as others have said, it was worth it at 100/1 but now i wouldnt.

but i spose he is 1 step closer with the way quali has panned out. webber could easily make one of his crap starts, alonso engine has a higher chance to go and vettel is vettel.

I think the remote chance of his winning just makes it a gamble pure and simple, as utajoker says - at the odds they are giving you its prolly not worth it.

Had £10 on Hamilton @ 20/1, £20 on Vettel @ 7/2 & £30 on Webber @ 9/2, had Alonso won I'd have been too overjoyed to notice the loss  Anyway £30 win I suppose, cheers for the input.
