After failing to get Tony Adams in a coaching role it appears they have asked him to come outta retirement to shore up their defence :D

Personally I doubt there is much chance of that happening despite him being a Hammers fan. But you never know :)

Nice :D

If he had sense he would stay away from football a little while longer. As for West Ham, why would you ruin your career to come out of retirement to try and help a losing side.

Get the young talent in and start building.

Your Tony Adams was crap anyhow.:D

Tony Adams was a great player! solid as a rock.

Just like Bryan Robson was, ask them to run through walls they would.

Englands biggest mistake was not having Adams as full captain and not playing the Arsenal back 5 which earned about 2500 Arsenal Appearences between them.

He certainly prooved it as a player give him time he'll proove it as a manager no doubt.

Tony Adams was a Hammers fan as a kid, so has a soft spot for the club.

I think he probably needs to cut his teeth in the lower divisions before steaming into the Premiership.

That said, he is GOD, so he can do anything he wants.

I bow at the sheer mention of his name.;)

Adams was a great player for us, ill never forget what he has done for this club, man i wish he stayed on coz sometimes looking at us defend is so painfull but with him u always knew he wasnt gonna make a mistake unlike our current defenders :(

yes but he deserved a break. he had been so loyal

campbell as improved imo so adams must have left him with something because last season he was a "donkey" :p

i think we need another name, i would have liked to of seen Woodgate in the back with him because i really rate him, but perhaps is past wouldnt fit in with Arsenal.

we need to splash out and bring in a quality young player central defender coz we are really weak in that department

Gareth Barry would be eye catcher for me.

We can get anyone we want tbh, who wouldnt be attracted to Arsenal, new stadium, ambitious and very very strong (usually :p)

He would be a good signing if they can get him, but I can't see him taking up the offer myself. The prospect of playing alongside Thomas Repka, with the cross-flapping merchant himself behind you in goal is enough to scare anyone off.

i dont think we can finance big money moves coz of our new stadium being built but i think wenger missed out on woodgate but i heard wenger did enquire but was told he wasnt available

I hear John Terry cant seem to agree a contract with chelsea maybe we should buy him or pick him up on a free transfer, hmmmm i swear thats happened before hasnt it ;) :p
