Hand Cream

Sudocrem or however it's spelt should help it heal quicker, then E45 constantly. The back of my hand was as bad as that and Sudocrem/E45 sorted it.

SLS = a sufactant you don't really want to be using on your skin. Palmitic acid based sufactants are much more gentle and are sourced from renewables too.

Basicially there is a chain length of the sufacants whereby too long or too short will result in harsh reaction wit the skin ( according to our sufactant guys over in america) and palmitate is pretty much perfect.

I personally have always done well with E45 hand cream and if you must where gloves all day then use an expensive barrier cream to stop the nitrile gloves drying them out.
SLS is in almost everything you clean yourself, with from shampoo to toothpaste. I only know of one big brand toothpaste that doesn't have it in.

Use something simple like Diprobase that someone has suggested.

Nivea Creme is too think and sticky, any shop products e.g. Body Shop/Crabtree and Evelyn will most probably contain some sort of perfume that may irritate further.

I'd go to the doctor as it looks like it could be a mixture of temp change bringing out some eczema.

I'm guessing a lot of the replies are pretty generic / flaming, so haven't read the thread.

But as some have already said, general Vaseline E45 cream tends to work well, before bed etc and randomly during the day

Also, as someone else mentioned, wear gloves in the morning or while out, or if anything some fingerless ones so your knuckle get more protected, may look daft to you, but hey, least your hands wont be cracking.
