I have recently been testing a overclock of 4.4 and temps go to 82 max while testing with Aid64.

Tried Handbrake for 1st time today and it crashes nearly everytime about 15 - 35 mins into encoding.

Do you think its a issue with handbrake or the overclock?

specs below in sig

I don't think AIDA64 stresses the CPU out like Handbrake does. It's a benchmark, but it doesn't test the CPU out long enough.

Try adding more volts or lowering the speed to see if it helps.

Temps in high 80's with more volts. Now sat @ 4.3 vcore 1.260v seems stable encoding so far.

Handbrake seems to show the worst if an OC isnt 100%

Managed to get it to 4.3 temps around 70c - 80c average 65c - 70c no crashes.

Will do 4.4 but not with adaptive on. Not sure what to adjust now to keep it at 4.4?
