HandBrake supports OpenCL!!

It seems HandBrake supports OpenCL now:

Anandtech compares a couple of mobile CPUs. The Intel mobile IB Core i7 quad core with HT sees a 30% improvement with OpenCL whereas the 4 thread Trinity A10 sees a doubling in performance.

HandBrake is free which is why this is great news,and hopefully people with discrete desktop GPUs will see bigger performance increases.

While always being faster my understanding has always been that the output quality is reduced when using these faster methods, which is ok if you are looking for a faster mthod to convert something for a phone I guess.

No Quick Sync as the community don't like Intels terms.

I believe it's still in beta, no idea where you can download it though.
