I'm not sure what's true and what isnt about these things - people have varied opinions of the processes involved with them..

Today i think i may have been caught speeding by a police officer carrying one of these devices. He did not pull me over, but i did see him write something down on a clipboard he had with him as i drove past.

was the usual situation, out of an NSL dual carriageway round a corner into a 40 zone. i was doing somewhere between 60 and 40 - probably around 55 as i was slowing down (not on the brakes) before the big flashing "slow down" sign just round the corner.

I've asked a few people and some people say that because he didnt pull me over, i didnt get caught - but i've also had people say that that's not necessarily the case and i may just recieve the usual stuff through the post within 14 days..

Anyone know for sure what the usual/possible process is for these type of camera ?

I'm unsure whether it was actually one of the 20/20 guns, but it looked much larger than the one posted in the thread on pepipoo... it was DEFFINITELY a police officer though, and he was deffinitely on his own.
