handheld pda or psp , something to amuse me at work

i am a cnc machine operator and quite often i am bored while my machine is running, after the dailly paper is read i get bored so im thinking of a handheld pda or even a psp to keep me amused, i would like to play games and watch video files and play music.

what is the best option for me a psp or a pda ? i like the idea of gps and using the pda as sat nav but im looking for the best option for using as a media player and game console.

any suggestions or is there other things the pda or psp can be used for

When you think a psp is around £150? and an acer aspire one is £200 i always seem to come to an easy decision

i would never dream of buying new lol, i would get the modified firmware for the psp to make it more 'flexible' with what it would play just thought it may be worth considering a second hand pda, are they any good for games and media playing ?
