I just put togather a new build

ASUS M4N98TD Motherboard
Phenom II 1090t
SLI GTX 480
8GB 1600mhz Corsair ram

When I try booting this up it wont go any further than Initializing USB Controllers on boot up. I have nothing other than a ps2 keyboard connected to it.

I have tried one stick of ram in every slot, running older 8800gt graphics card no disk drives connected, Resetting the bios ( battery out no power and jumper moved over to clear )

But I cant get it to go past the Initializing USB Controllers it just freezes no keboard control cant even access the bios to alter setting it freezes before thats a option.

Does anyone else have any sugestions other than the board is faulty.
Thanks for your help.

Might sound daft have you tried different modules in the slots or just the one, you might have a faulty one.

have tried all 4 modules i got it finds them all but stops at that error dont think its at the point where it is actually acessing the ram yet when it locks
