I'm looking to do the EP course shortly and was wondering if anyone else could share their experiences? Any advice for a noob?

I've done flying lessons and some tandem skydives, and this seems like the next thing to try. Who knows, I might actually stick at it if I really enjoy it (it seems a lot more affordable than I thought, too) :)

Right, instead of dithering around, I just booked up for August... Really looking forward to it now! :D

Good luck! I have recently been thinking of getting into Paragliding, or at least trying it out somehow. I have done a tandem sky dive, and the bit I enjoyed the most was when the Canopy opened. It was so quiet up there! The thought of gliding over mountains makes me smile! :)

Yeah I did think Skydiving was an amazing experience, especially when the canopy opened as well (apart from the first time when I'd not adjusted my harness properly and my nuts got crushed!). Hang gliding or paragliding seems like a more "refined" experience to me and a bit more natural than throwing yourself out of a plane.

I've been watching videos of people just messing around on beaches, flying over beachy head and the like - amazing. I was considering getting into FPV but this may just be a bit better. :D

I'll see how I feel after the course as it'd be silly to get ahead of myself but I do have some cash sitting idle in a crappy savings account that might be better off "invested" in some fun. :)

Yeah, proper adjustment of the harness is vital... as I found out as well!
I would love to do wingsuiting, but the risk of death is a little high for my wife to let me do that! Paragliding and hang-gliding seems like slow motion wingsuiting, so a lot more refined and civilised. :)
