Morning,

I've got to hang a heavy(ish) mirror onto a plasterboard wall, the mirror weights about 15-17kg.

What are the best fixing to ensure I don't rip the bloomin wall down?

I've found spring toggles like these: spring toggles

Alternativly there are hollow wall anchors which i've never seen before: Hollow wall anchor

if it is just a hollow wall then the Wall Anchors are great. I use a setting tool with them, they just work!

Yes it's a hollow wall, are settings tools 100% required? I don't want to buy one just to put in two screws :D

Studs are in the wrong place......stupid new builds :(

I've hung curtains using the simple plasterboard fixings that are like corkscrews - what's the next step up for holding a slightly heavier weight?

edit: Thinking about it, the mirror is lighter than the curtains - I might just use the metal corkscrew fixings.
