Hangman's Hill

Anyone heard of this road or track in Epping Forest where it gives you the illusion that you are rolling up a hill. My plan is to go there tonight and experience it for myself, just not sure on the exact location of it, anyone been there before, could do with a map really, I think it's near High Beach.

yeh, my mum has to go through epping forest every day. must be soemthing to do with how the trees are 'angled'

you might even see Sir AMS too, he frequents the spot in his rolls or his conti GT

Gonna go out later tonight and head for High Beach in Epping Forest, I hear thats where it is, so I've got a map off the net to head there, then its just a case of looking.

There is also one just south of Ayr. An electric brae i believe tis called
