New Amazon prime series out on the 29th of March, looks like it is the old trope of person with something special about them being hunted down by the government etc... but that's generally been quite an entertaining formula for people to use in the past.

Being based on the film I'd be surprised if it was anything else.

Why not? You can do more with a series.

I mean why bother making say Westworld in that case or say Buffy the vampire slayer (granted that film was a bit marmite...).

Will give it a punt, don't recall watching the 2011 film thought this was the same as the film with Kate Mara in a few years ago.

Get the feeling Hanna is gonna be like some Jason bourne female version but making weapons from a pot of flowers and blue tack...

Never seen the film though but lets hope with amazon at the helm a tv series can do it justice.

The first 20 minutes of the film is great and you have really high hopes..... and then it goes downhill rapidly. :/

Yup its pretty much nikita film or tv series redone just several years later..... same plot and same vibe at least.

Or consider this show like bourne film series but with a teenage girl instead.

You can binge it, otherwise its an ok tv series if season 2 gets made that is a big question I don't think it left any lasting impression or showed any worth to move on.

It was a suprisingly good watch. Wasn't sure at the start but stuck with it. Decent story and characters. I thought Rhianne Barreto stole the show for sure, very good at times. 7/10.
