hannes g 19"

Hi all

I just bought a Hannes G monitor (19" square not widescreen)

I have a couple of problems

1) i cant seem to get brightness contrast mix right ( am now using the nvidia settign to alter it instead of the monitor settings and that seems to help)

2) the main problem, fonts dont look right, they seem, well too thin.

If any body has any ideas i woudl apreciate it

shoudl probably mention, i am running it at

1280 x 1024 and at 75 refresh rate.

Shouldn't the res be 1440x900? Maybe that will sort out the thin text problem?

Have you put clear type on in appereance then effects in display properties.
