I've had the HW191D for about 2 weeks, and in the past 5-6 days it's started acting very strange:-
The brightness/contrast of the screen has gone haywire; I've had to turn the contrast down to zero just so I can write this. Otherwise it's blindingly bright. I'm also experiencing severe movement echoes and shadows.
Now, the screen will occasionally pop back in to its normal state when it feels like it. If I don't switch the screen off, then it will stay fine. But if it goes in to power-saving mode, or the screen is switched off and then on again, the problem will come back.
I should note that both symptoms always happen at the same time. I'm using a VGA cable at the moment. I've had a look at my graphics card and I see no problems there, plus I sent a print-screen image of the desktop to a friend thinking he'd be able to see the problem, but on his monitor the .jpg looked fine. I'd say this strongly suggests that it is definatley a problem with the monitor.
I'm currently waiting for the return of my X850XT, so when I get it back I'm going to try using a DVI cable to see if it solves anything.
Sorry for the lengthy post. Thanks for reading. If anyone has any idea what could be the cause of this problem I'd love to hear it.
