Hanns-G HG281DP 28" Static Problem

Ok been using this monitor a long time fine, since last August. But lately I've noticed an increasing problem on the screen. Basically it looks like some kind of stativ, maybe blocks of 10px x 2px flying up and down my screen in columns, but flashing like static does. It happens more on brighter colours, or is just more noticable.

Not sure whats causing it. Tried new graphics drivers, changing the cable (from DVI to HDMI cable to an analogue cable) with no change, tried both connectors on graphics cards too. Changing the res also doesnt help.

Any ideas anyone? Would hate to have to send it back as its a good screen.

Did you say you've tried a different graphics card, I can't quite confirm if you have from the OP?

Sounds like one of two things, artifacts from a failing gfx card, or some sort of issue with the monitor. Funnily enough, I've seen a Hanns.g monitor go this way before, though I can't tell if it's exactly like that as there is no image.
