Hanns G monitor making cracking/static noise!

Whenever a page is loading or am scrooling, the monitor makes noise, I have it connected to the computer via DV! and I tried connecting to another 24" monitor via dvi as well and it was fine. I have had the monitor for about 2 years and 4 months now.
Any idea why this happening

Double check that the monitor's speakers are muted.

Oddly enough my monitor had the same problem and was fixed when i muted the monitor's speakers.

Actually I have never used the speaker monitor ever, then all over of the sudden the noise start, not even sure I know how to mute it. I ll have a look when I get home. The noise is really loud and and shouldnt this be a fault? If I have to mute the speaker eventually to acheive this, wouldnt it render the speaker useless.?

can I send it back for reapair based on this?

This will indeed render the monitor's speakers useless, but if it does indeed fix your problem it might be better that way.

Mine used to do a buzzing noise whenever opening my browser or when loading/rendering bright pages.

If it's still in waranty, you can send it back and get it fixed/replaced but I would advise you to contact HannsG or the retailer to discuss your options in advance.
