Hanns-G SJ28DMBB 1920x1200 issues

Hi, i've got hold of a new monitor (hann-G SJ28DMBB) thats native res is 1920x1200 but from searching a bit i see that the EDID data is wrong and it will only display in 1920x1080 correctly. If i force to 1920x1200 then text is blurry and its doin my nut in.

I've googled it and come to the conclusion that i need to overide the EDID data but for the life of my i cant figure out how to get it bang on. The few attempts i've tried with EDID Overide tool havent helped and i'm still stuck with 1920x1200 that looks poor at best.

Any help please would be gratefully recieved.

Good luck. Had one of the Hanns monitor/tele's that had this and just ended up sending it back.

Tried all the EDId override stuff and had no luck

Ahh crap, I dont mind playing on 1920x1080 which is pixel perfect but i'd rather be playing on the 1920x1200 with no distortion. Thanks eyetrip.....fingers crossed someone else can shed some light.
