Hannspree HG324QJB question

Just bought one one these and overall happy, it does have one blue stuck pixel which is irritating but not a deal breaker (previously I'd never had a single stuck/dead pixel on any screen I'd bought though, guess i was just lucky!).
My question would be is this monitor supposed to have LED lighting on the back as if so mine doesn't seem to work unless there is a switch for it that can't see, manual is next to useless although that's not really a surprise!

Well my first comment was along the lines of OMG its enormous (at least compared to the 29" AOC one that I was previously using), you'd have thought 3" would be insignificant in the scheme of things but it towers over my old one, I tweaked the colour settings along the lines of what somebody has previously posted here and it looks fine.

The 30 day period is a right to reject/return the item as follows -
Under the Consumer Rights Act you have an early right to reject goods that are unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described, and get a full refund.
Your early right to reject is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods (this could be the date of purchase or the date the goods were delivered to you - whichever is later).
Once this has passed the following applies -
If you are outside the 30-day right to reject, you have to give the retailer one opportunity to repair or replace any goods or digital content which are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described.
You can state your preference, but the retailer can normally choose whichever would be cheapest or easier for it to do.
Either way its unlikely you would have to send it back to Hannspree unless it took you more than 30 days to decide you didn't like it which seems unlikely.

How do they manage to make 4k TVs with no dead/stuck pixels as people would be returning them right, left and centre if they had weird colour specks on the screen.
Or am I missing something obvious about TVs?
