Are you going for 2 Swifts and 1 980 or is that a mistake?

I'll be doing a similar build as well. I can't comment on the nzxt case but what about the Phanteks Enthoo Luxe? It would also be in keeping with your theme and seems like a good case for the money.

Looks good, the H105 is excellent with 5820K, @ 4Ghz my 5820k doesn't reach 70c on lowest fan speed @ 4.5Ghz keeps it around 70c/80c on lowest fan speed. Turn the fans upto max for benching and it runs really cool even when fully stressed. Great cooler and chip combo.

I actually saw someone else mention that combo so thought i'd go with it so but didn't know that good.

Any idea's of how noisy the gfx card is?

I actually really like the Phanteks and i leaning towards getting it

Ok a few things before i go ahead buy my build i want to know:
gfx cards wise i see a lot people say go for 970.
What's best versus
MSI GeForce GTX 970/ 980
Asus GeForce GTX 980 DirectCU II OC Strix 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
GALAX GeForce GTX 980 SOC Gamer 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Also i see a lot people going for asus x99s but what is so good about it?
Also which best motherboard choice between
MSI X99S Gaming 7 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard
Asus Rampage V Extreme Intel X99 (Socket 2011) DDR EATX Motherboard

So are/Have you gone ROG swift eyefunity? (As it were).

If your running all three off one GPU (for gaming) youll need some serious power.

To get the best out of it your looking at 980 SLI realistuvly. Also if this is just for gaming your better off looking at the 4790k bundles. It perfirms better in games then the 5820k does..

I was thinking of future proofing by jumping onto the hanswell-e. At the moment i'm running 1 rog of a 6950. But taking my time to get all 3 monitors in eyefinity/ nvidia equivalent but can buy them at any time.
What would you recommend as a 4790k build?

Well the 5820k isn't a very future proof option as it is weaker t100fpe 4790k for gaming use, and only allows up to triSLI (x8/x8/x8) similar too the 4790k. Not to mention games don't use 6 cores yet and I think it'll be a long while til they do.

Another factor is the price of DDR4. As you'll only need 8gb for gaming DDR3 is much cheaper and provides a better variety.

How does your 6950 cope with the swift? You seeing anywhere near 100fps (144hz = 144fps is possible to see)..

I still think youll be looking at 980SLI. That on a 4790k build would look very nice..

Upgradibiliy is tough but Z97 is rumoured to accept broad well CPU's. No rumours of X99 for broadwell -E though ..

I can't sowc now, as I'm on my mobile, but I'll take a go later if you haven't been soecced already

I see what your saying and it makes sense and i did say i'd make big purchases as long makes sense and from your descriptions the markup to x99 doesn't. I am kind of disappointed but i'll look again in near future.

The 6950 is meh as swift is heavily geared towards nvidia and not taking advantage of most of key features and the hz rates seem to be stuck at 100 but most games are to push up to that on 6950.

I think your right about 980SLI but been hearing such good things about 970SLI although i have heard some horror stories about SLI as a whole.

I'll probably run eyefinity/surround from time to time but i have no problems switching to one screen and multi-tasking on other to hit that 144hz.

Ok this is my final build... i think. I'm not 100% on the board but meh.
I am buying 980 asap as it let me make best use of the rog i have now and regardless if i change my mind on the build it's still interchangeable

And it will cost around 4k cause cards and monitors

Where are you're power supply/ SSDs/HDD's?

This is what i'd do.. The reference coolers on the 980's are great for SLI.. The air comes out the back rather than out the top/side onto each other...

Motherboard BK edition will include Gigabytes new warranty scheme, allowing you to upgrade (to a new socket) within 3 years..

Hmmm Teamgroup is ok but i don't like the green. I do love the overclockers exclusive kingston ram so might go for that instead.
