100 years young today. Having been there a couple of times it really is a great stadium and makes most of the other top flight grounds look very old fashioned.

While we are talking about history it seems fitting to point out, though, that the first game every played there ended up 4-3 to Liverpool :)

Here's another interesting facht, the architect that designed Old Trafford also did Anfield, Bramall Lane, Celtic Park, Craven Cottage, The Dell, Ewood Park, Fratton Park, Goodison, Hampden, Ibrox, Highbury, Hillsborough, Landsdowne Road, Molineux, Selhurst Park, Stamford Bridge, Tynecastle, Villa Park and White Hart Lane.

Seems an apt time to post my little present from Old Trafford, Happy Birthday :)
