After reading, you would see that it was actually dealing with USA only. States less tolerant to homosexuality had gay searches at 4.8%, more tolerant at 5.2%. I've had a look through, I'm still not convinced that it is a reasonable assumption re: similar levels of porn consumption... it certainly doesn't blow my objection out of the water. Just because some states are more tolerant (from a legal perspective re: marriage etc..) than others doesn't mean that society as a whole treats homosexuality and heterosexuality in the same way, the objection is still valid.

That's kind of interesting, though I can't imagine the search term "man ******* man" has much traction in countries which have a more widely used homosexual lexicon.
