I feel sorry for those who need to buy/receive cards/gifts in order to feel loved.

Truthfully, despite the fact that I am a single male, and valentines day is obviously just a cash cow, I still would buy a girfriend something.

Obviously the anniversry is far more important, but stilll... this is more a "season of love" rather than a special day between 2 people.
