Happy with 360 game pricing?

Ordered with a CC, discount showed up, just got graw for £28.49

Lucky you I placed the order then got confirmation by email and it was at full price. Phoned them up and they said the code wasnt valid, so they cancelled the order. :mad:

I used lx direct too and the above code and for me its not worked dunno why. So you didnt have to set up and account either?

Nope just put my cc info in.

I did however press the press the create account thing but then go back and enter different codes a few times, did your total show up as deducted during order process?

Right trying that, whenever I add the code the discount is shown, then i move onto the delivery page then the price goes back up again..

in reply to the orginal post, im happy paying 40 quid a shot for brand new titles, thers only a few i have to pick up new, and its the newest console so what do you expect, but most games i pick up 2nd hand, then trade into gamestation for credit, and put them against new games, saves cash.....sorta

Dont worry you will get it for that price... you get a refund to your card...

Also i got told 10th April for GRAW... ordered a week past Fri.... got it on the tuesday last week

Pop over to AVForums there's a large thread about this on there using LXdirect. You get the £15 discount refunded to your card. There is also a 10% discount you can use on top of the £15 voucher.

If your signed upto Quidco you can get another £0.94 off

I got GRAW in 2days for £23.55.

It's a 10% discount on the original price from LXDirect, then you get the £15 discount voucher taken away afterwards.

Read the AVForums thread it's all in there

P.S No idea about the £10 off and free delivery voucher.

From searching for lxdirect in the bargain forum the only thread of relevance is the £15 off first order one, there's no mention of a further 10%.

I quite fancy the hockey game when that comes out and tesco are doing that for £29.

I don't mind too much as the price you get on the second hand market reflects the new price of games but I can see how it would hit people that like to keep all the games they buy to play at a later date.

You have to remember though that the 360 is the top of the tree with regards to processing and graphics power so the games are going to be at a premium.

I wouldn't be suprised to see games become available at £34.99 around PS3 time though (fingers crossed)

Hi all. Just got my 360 last night insted of another Crossfire card and new mobo, and what a system. I am only running on a SD TV untill my new monitor arrives next week and its amazing. But to the topic in hand.

I think the games are not to badly priced, £40 would be the perfect price thought. But I get 30% off as I know some one who works in HMV so its not bad at all.
