I have finally managed to get a stable overclock @ 3.8, Prime runs for 4 hours with no problems. So I would like to keep it as it is but can somebody just have a quick check of my settings on an Asus P6TD Deluxe mobo. with 6 GB corsair XMS3 Cas 8.

Oc tuner, Manual
CPU ratio, auto
Speedstep, enabled
Turbo, enabled
BLCK, 181
Pci freq, 100
Dram Freq, 1451

CPU Voltage, 1.2875
CPU PLL, 1.84
QPI, 1.25000
IOH 1.14
IOH PCIE, 1.5
ICH 1.2
Dram bus voltage 1.64

Load line calib, enabled
Hyperthreading. enabled

What should I set my UCLK freq. and QPI link data rate to?

Anything else I need to adjust for this set up?.

Many thanks.

Looks good. Uncore clock should be 2x memory speed, or 2x it +1, 1451x2=2902. Qpi link rate should be kept below 8000mt/s, in the drop down menu, select the highest figure below 8000, cant remember exactly, but at 183 bclk i think my uncore was 2935mhz, qpi link, 6605mt/s. Only other thing id change is the clockspeed, knock the bclk to 191 and try for 4ghz.:D

Sorry let me get this right, with my hardware,

UCLK = 2902?
Qpi = 6605?

Thanks mate, will try those settings . Is there any harm in keeping them in auto?

Some of the voltage settings, if left on auto will tend to generate more voltage than neccesary, this can lead to higher temps. Auto would probably be fine for uncore and qpi link. All your current voltage settings are grand.

Brilliant stuff Setter thanks, I will keep it as is for the moment as it's new rig, then push for 4 later. ;) Currently idling at 36 36 34 31. When running prime i get 69 tops.

Few pics of my bios settings, (albeit for 4ghz)

On the uncore frequency setting, from the menu, select the option that is double your ddr ram speed (or double it + 1. For qpi link, you need to select the highest available below 8000mt/s from the menu.

EDIT:Good stuff, load temps are good.

nice,if your cpu is a d0 i would go for 4ghz,there made to hit 4ghz quite easily..if its a c0,well 3.8 is max in air setup;)

Thanks mate, since my original post i've had to disable cpu spread spectrum and pcie spread spectrum due to boot issues. since doing this I have had zero problems , really happy now it's totally stable.
