I know its kind of biased asking on a computer forum but hey i bet theirs a few guitar enthuisiasts in here who can weigh my options.

Opinions appreciated.

Which will you use more? Do you play a lot of games etc?

Well i havnt played guitar in 2 years but yesterday i picked up my old one and started playing for a while, after that i couldnt stop untill my fingers started hurting from rusty strings.

I hope to play a lot of games, Bioshock/Crysis/Testdrive/Lost Planet/DIRT etc. except my main problem is i wont have enough money after buying the cards to get games for at least another month.

I will eventually get both but i want something now, I can start getting guitar lessons again with the remainder of my cash.

Also just thought i would add my old guitar is wrecked from my school years thrashing it about (wish i hadnt now) so i do need a new guitar if i take new lessons.

The GTX is pointless and only for people who wish to increase their Epeen.

Get a GTS for nearly half the price AND get the guitar.

Second hand GTX/GTS AND second hand guitar.

Result.

The thing is i know this sounds silly but my old guitar teacher said i had a lot of potential just after i finished my grade 5 exam i think it was, now thinking of that i think it was just encouragement but it certainly has got me thinking.

Can still play Thin Lizzy - Emerald which is such a sexy song.

Not understanding what you mean here? What has that got to do with second hand guitars? :)

hmm firefox bug had to rewrite it, was meant to say i have already had 2 second hand guitars which both broke. One was an Epiphone les paul which the neck had partly split and i got my money back.

Second was squire strat which i had for a year then just broke on me, never liked it anyway neck was too wide.

 Is that meant to be a joke?

No, it's not, unless you study 3dmarks, a GTX isn't going to give you a £100-£150 better gaming experience than a 640mb GTS, is it.

By the time it makes a difference, you'll want something newer anyway.

Truth. Although some people are sore to accept on a computing forum.

EDIT: Wrote "one" instead of "some"
