Hard Drive boot up ?

Hi All I have 2 Hard Drives (Seagate ) and want to put Windows Vista on one of them ,and use the other as a basic store drive .What i,m unsure of is regarding the boot up ,will i need to do anything to make it boot up the drive with Windows installed on ? or will it pick it up ? thanks

Windows will set the partition on which it's installed as active and hence bootable. What you do need to do however is ensure that that HDD is set as the first HDD in the BIOS boot order.

Ok so what i need to do is go into the bios and change this ?
