Hard Drive Compatibilities

Hi,

I have a Acer TravelMate 8204 WLMI and I'm thinking about upgrading the hard drive to a WD - WD2500BEKT (part number) will this drive work in my laptop? since its only a SATA drive within my laptop...

Let me know as I want to get one asap

If your notebook takes SATA hard-drives, it should work fine.

Yes it does, but are you sure SATA and SATA II will be ok??

There's no such difference. Newer hard-drives are capable of faster theoretical speeds if the system allows it; if not, they'll just run as usual. Shouldn't cause any problems.
