So in my 27" iMac (Oct 2009, 3.06ghz. Standard config) seems to be very briefly reading or writing to the hard drive every half a second. It's pretty irritating in a quiet room when you're trying to concentrate. (Think of a constant tick of a clock but faster) I would say it sounds like a clicking, but its not that severe of a sound.
Are there any monitoring tools out there I can use to work out what it is and get rid of this irritating noise?
