Hard-drive dying?

Basically one of my hard-drive is making a high pitch ticking/clicking noise...well think its the hdd.
is this a sign its giving up the ghost?

Possibly, my old Maxtor did a simular thing.. i'd backup anything valuable on the drive just to make sure.

What type of HD is it?

mmh, well i have two. one is OS and crap
the other is all my photos, music etc...
