Will one of these go into a Unibody Macbook/Macbook Pro?

What are good suggestions for replacing the stock 5400 drives in the lappys?

OK, thanks :) Is it noticeably faster since you changed? Noise levels, vibration, etc?

I've always used 7200RPM drives in mine.

Currently have a 7200RPM 320GB HDD installed by Steve Jobs himself*, and it's amazing.

*May or may not be true

I'm really pleased i plumped for the 320GB 7200rpm upgrade for my Unibody. It's so much faster than my 17"s 5400rpm drive.

Only bad thing is that it seems to vibrate a bit more but that's no biggy...

I used a 7,200rpm HDD in mine, upgraded from the stock 5,400rpm one. Was certainly a difference in speed, battery life wasn't affected.

Anyone tried one of the 500gb hard disks yet? I'm going to be replacing the hard drive soon, and the extra space they give will help.

I take it they're the same physical size as the smaller disks?
