After playing Battlefield 2 for a couple of hours my hard drive starts to make a right racket, presumeablyreading and or writing. this only stops when I close down BF2. It also affects the picture quality with some jumping of the image, is this something to do with the pagefile size? I have nothing else running at ther time and there is nothing updating it's self in the background.

Cheers

MB: Asus A8nsli deluxe, 2GB DDR corsair value select, Akasa 62 case with 2 amber series fans, one side panel fan, AMD 64 4000 Cpu, stock coolers(@the moment), 2 * Raptors 74GB, hooked on BF2.

Minimize BF2 when its running and check the page file usage, as well as the BF2.exe Ram usage.

If you are doing a defrag Id reccomend something like O&O Defrag instead of the Windows one, as it doesnt do a great job.
