Got a new harddrive the other day to make it 6 harddrives in my rig total.
the new harddrive worked first of all to do the partition and activiating in windows....but now if doesnt show in windows explorer at all
its in bios 100%
its also in the admin panel for storage but has not partition info only total size but if i try and format or change drive letter or anything i get:
op failed to complete bc DM console view is not up-to-date. refresh view
which i do, and the same message comes up.
weird thing is if i switch two disks around the same sata on the mobo it is always not showing in windows???(but appears in bios)
what have i done , any ideas? its like the sata drivers or something have thrown a wobbly.
