what should i buy to house 2 X 250 gig sata drives, ideally its got to be under £70 (if possible ??)

I don't think you'll get a two-bay NAS box for that sort of money.

I've used this one:

and its fine, but out of your budget (which is a little unrealistic imho).

works well and can take up tp 1TB drives i think(or it may be up to 750GB can`t remember)
