Hello All,
Recently I've been hearing the sound of my hard drive spinning up/down continuosly and it's really starting to bug me. This only happens in Vista not XP as I do not experience the same problem on my XP install on the same computer. I've had a look in the power management settings to make sure that the hard-drives don't turn off after a certain period of time but this has had no effect. I'm just wondering if this is a common issue with Vista, if I should be worried and what can I do to fix it.
There are three WD 320GB hard-drives in the computer, two of which are in RAID 0 configuration and all are plugged into a Gigabyte DS3 motherboard.
