HELP PLEASE , motherboard is a msi m power max and my primary boot drive is a ssd. The system boots up and runs fine and on device manager my two seagate 2tb hard drives are detected but not initialized and aren't showing up on the control panel.

looked in disk manager? start/right click my computer/manage/storage/disk management

then right click on the drives and initialise them or asignn new drive letter to them, they will then showup in windows

does this work for windows 8.1. on disk management they are both there as online but unallocated, right click options are striped and spanned volume and convert to dynamic and mbr but no others.

in win8 its easier theres a disk management tab in any of the folders at the top

tried converting to mbr? they are blank ect? as you'll lose your data if not(don't do it if you cant backup the data first)
