Hardline tubing

Not used this stuff before so fancy a go.

I take it that these are the right size tube/fitting combination:

10/12 route...

That is right, i have gone for the 10/12 EK route and absolutely love it. You can get away with sharper bends if you are careful. No need for the monsoon kit if you want to save dosh, my first 6/7 builds used the edge of the table.

Do you slightly warm up the tubing to bend?

You have to warm it up to bend it

Make sure you've got the correct sized silicon insert.

I've used 12/16 in my build, should finish it tomorrow. I find 12/10 would be too thin for me. You can get a kit off OCUK that comes with all the tools required including heat gun, silicone insert' bending mandrels, saw, cutting block, deburring tool aswell as a selection of 150-300mm rules.

If you do get one don't forget adapter as my heatgun came with EU 2 pin. Had to cut it off and wire in a new plug myself as I didn't have an adapter.
