Hardware Acceleration

hey guys,

i got a problem when i try to play command and conquer 3,

i start the game, and it freezes, and an error messege comes up, saying this:

now my spec of my system is:

EVGA 680SLi mb
Q6600
8GB ram
2 x GTX 260s in SLi
Vista Home Premium 64bit

perfectly able to play it, now i go to the display options, click advanced / troubleshoot, and it says my card does not support Hardware Acceleration?

how do i solve this?

Are your graphics drivers properly installed?

Have you downloaded and installed the latest directx9?

Even though you have Vista sometimes games need you to install directx9 manually. This is what happened for me with c&c and when I installed directx9 it worked. HTH

graphics drivers should be installed right, was a fresh format, and downloaded the new drivers direct from nvidia, along with chipset drivers etc,

shall install dx9 as dont think thats installed, just 10 maybe, will give it a go, and replay back,

Try disabling SLI and try again

tried that and still nothing

right just tried installing direct 9 again, and read things properly, the installation says i do not require this, and will not install, sorta thing,

how i get around this?

If I remember right, I got the exact same problem, and the latest patch fixed it.

The card is not in the supported list - patch updates that.
