Hey,

I'm looking to purchase a processor and graphic card for my computer but im not sure what compatible with my motherboard. My budget is £200 - thanks

Motherboard: MSi H81M-P33 Socket LGA 1150 Motherboard
Current:

Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition unlocked Dual Core Processor @ 3.2Ghz
XFX Ghost Edition HD7850 2Gb Graphics Card

thanks

£200 for both, new, will be a pointless sidegrade.

For CPU you should be looking at an i5 (Socket 1150, Haswell or Devil's Canyon - and update BIOS before installing new chip) as a worthy upgrade.

And for GPU a 4GB 380/380X or 390.

You could get a second-hand i5 and a second-hand 280X/290 or thereabouts, for £100 each, if lucky.

If going new, just spend on GPU first, and then replace the Pentium with i5 when able. This would be if main use was gaming.

Second-hand 770's go for £100-ish, maybe less now. 770 would be the equivalent of a 280X. And then a second-hand i5-4690/i5-4670 or slower if you can't find those two, for £100 too.

New, your GPU options are 960 4GB or push budget for a 970.

If you come across a 780 for a bargain, it's well worth considering too.
