Hardware compatibility issue?

On the Sound City forum I have posted my sound issues with a new rig, and just about exhausted all avenues of checks.
Before I go any further, has anyone had any compatibility issues between:-
GA-EX58-UD5 mobo and Creative X-Fi sound card. This one http://support.creative.com/Products...T=CategoryID:1

Get rid of the XFi and get a Xonar DX mine runs fine in Win 7 x64. I had an XFi which gave me nothing but problems, BSOD caused by Creative's **** drivers! ASUS have good support for the Xonar and Win 7 x64.
Do whats best for Creative products, get rid of them!
