This is the second time I have purchased a mobo and heatsink and faced a possible incopatibility problem. Only on the heatsink box, does it state that there may be compatibility issues with fitting the cooler on AM2, if the memory sockets are less than 18mm... well guess what, it is less!!!!

OCers should have stated this clearly on the description page... surely, they should be able to offer advice on hardware compatibility, how am I supposed to know if this will fit or not...?? This infor about the distance was clearly marked onthe heatsink box.. they shouldhave made this clear onthe website...

Im not happy, I paid for Sat delivery especially so I could be in, and get the rig built...

As they are the retailer, and the experts, I would expect them to be able to advise, or at least put such vital information on the website... I may now have to go out and purchase a cooler from PC WORLD, at my expense!!!

My only hope now, is that I can mount it 180 degrees the other way, so the pipes are not over the ram...

just a thought from me,i check things i buy on-line to see if it fit's and the detailed spec of what im buying but i do see your point.
i do think on-line retailer's should put a bit more info in to what they are selling.
i tend to use you tube or another forum that has a bit more detail.
